Art as a way to say what words can't
When language runs out, colour and shape can carry the feeling. A look inside our art therapy room.

No artistic skill is needed for art therapy. In fact, the less you worry about the result, the more the process can do.
Why it works
Making something with your hands slows thought down. Images can hold contradictions — love and anger, hope and fear — that sentences struggle with.
What a session looks like
You choose materials, make something, then talk about it if you want to. Sometimes the conversation is long; sometimes the picture says enough.
