Safeguarding policy
Last updated 1 October 2026. Written in plain language — if anything is unclear, write to hello@emberroom.co.
Our commitment
Everyone who comes to Ember Room — adult, teenager or child — has the right to be safe. Every practitioner is trained in safeguarding and supervised regularly.
Confidentiality and its limits
What you share stays private unless there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else. Where possible, we’ll talk with you before sharing anything.
Young people
For clients under 16 we work with parents or guardians, while protecting the young person’s own space to talk.
Raising a concern
Our safeguarding lead can be reached at safeguarding@emberroom.co. Concerns are acknowledged within one working day.
Review
This policy is reviewed every year and after any significant incident.
